Homework Assignments

Students are expected to write down all homework assignments every day. Each student is responsible for keeping a homework book listing the assignments according to subject. Assignments are given at the end of each day and students have the opportunity to ask questions about the homework prior to leaving for the day.

Late Assignments

All homework assignments are to be turned in the next day, unless otherwise noted. If a student misses an assignment, the student must fill out a Missing Assignment Form which must be stapled to the front of the assignment, signed by the parent/guardian, and turned in the next day for credit. Any assignments turned in later than one day after they are due will result in a grade of No Credit . In order to ensure communication on student performance, a weekly report will be sent home every Friday listing missing assignments receiving No Credit and citizenship grades for the week.

Absences

If a student is absent due to illness, work will be made up by a due date agreeable to the student and myself. Students should inquire about assignments that will be missed if they are going to be absent for any other reason other than illness.

* Please send me an email or call the front office by 9:00 if you would like homework left in the office for pick-up at the end of the day. Most of the time rest is the best thing they can do.
