Classroom Expectations

The students are expected to do the following things throughout each day during the school year:

Come in the classroom quickly and quietly

Listen when others are talking

Work quietly and on task

Listen to directions

Respect others

Be organized

Encourage others

Be polite

In addition, I have high expectations for student work.   I expect them to do their best, and take pride in their work by working carefully and neatly.

 

Discipline Procedures

If a student has trouble following the classroom expectations, he/she will go through the following steps:           

First Offense: Verbal warning
   
Second Offense: Student will be required to spend extra time in the classroom conferencing with me.
   
Third Offense: Telephone call to parent/guardian
   
Fourth Offense: Conference with student, parent, teacher, and principal
