Remember: No Late Work Hillview science teachers do not post homework assignments on-line. Daily assignments are always on the homework board in my room. You are expected to write down your homework assignments on your homework calendar or call a buddy.
We do not post homework for the week on-line because science homework varies day to day. We need the flexibility to change the homework at a moment's notice based on student needs and their level of understanding of the scientific concepts that are taught in the lesson.
If you are absent, you have one extra day to make up the work for each day missed. Check the Today in Science Binder and determine what homework was due, and what was covered in class. The assignments you missed can be found on the Assignments shelf in front of the room.
Remember: No Late WorkHomework is due at the beginning of the class period . The science department policy is that NO LATE WORK IS ACCEPTED after the due date. You can use your two “Late Passes” per trimester for emergencies that may crop up. Those assignments will be graded without penalty. Late passes, however, cannot be used for large projects or lab reports.
