The Homework that you see on this page will simply be copied from the homework I send home with the children. The copy will be text only, and probably ugly. I need to keep this as easy as possible. Please excuse the lack of formatting.

Accompanying worksheets, if lost, need to be recopied. Please let me know if you need extra copies.

ABOUT MATH HOMEWORK.... Because of the way that I "do" Math, Math Homework is not always predictable. If there is homework, it usually . involves finishing up classroom assignments for that day. Sometimes however, I spend the whole period teaching a concept, and there are either no pages assigned, or the pages need to be done completely at home.

One should always check math folders for the classroom assignments (written for each group, along with their assignment for that day). On the Web Page, I will publish the latest pages assigned in class, hopefully, no later than Tuesday of every week. Also, check for needed corrections on a particular page. Children do not need to correct all problems, but if the student does not understand a concept, and misses several or more in a particular section, it is expected that they go back and correct. Red Apples on a column of answers means that the page is done to my satisfaction.

Please be aware that the length of my teaching sessions (lecture & practice) go for as long as needed each day. We may find there is more -- or less time to do assigned pages in class, meaning more --or less work at home. Homework Below

Notes:
What a wonderful year this has been. I have loved every minute! My thanks are endless when it comes to the volunteerism and support I have received this year ... from so MANY! Unbelievable! I don't think there was a parent that didn't do at least one special thing for this class ... Unbelievable! and yet, believable when I compare this community with others that I have worked in. You people are unusual in the best kind of ways. Thank You!

This Friday, YOU ARE ALL INVITED!!! to our end of the year Cleanup and Clean out!
"Yippee!" I hear you all shout!!.
From about 11:00 - 12:00, we're going to be trying to get the last of everything home or in the garbage. The room should look like a clean shell. Desks will be emptied and washed ... small groups will be going to the lost and found ... No scrap will be left behind.
Around 11:30, we'll be serving smoothies and ??? to celebrate a great year, and I'm sure our room mothers could use some help with that too.
Sooooo..... Hope to see you Friday, between 11:00 and 12:00!

Thursday (tomorrow) we have Field Day. Make sure the children wear comfortable, cool clothes & Sun Guard Lotion. It's a fun day full of fun activities.
