The Houghton Mifflin Text book is set up for ease of use.

Book

The Table of Contents reveals lessons.

Note: In the Table of Contents, there is a YELLOW BOX at the end of each chapter. This box lists chapter tests and practice pages. I call these sections the Yellow Pages.

Math2

Look at the side of the book... you can see the YELLOW PAGES!

Math12

There are "GREEN" bordered pages, indicating REFERENCE pages. These are located at the back of the book.

Math11

When you open your book, the LEFT side is generally the lesson, and the RIGHT side is generally practice problems for that lesson.

LEFT SIDE = LESSON

Math8

RIGHT SIDE = PRACTICE PROBLEMS

Math9

THE YELLOW PAGES!! (Yellow Bordered pages)

EXTRA PRACTICE PAGES provide additional problems and indicate where the problems came from... if you need a review.

Math3

Math4

The Yellow Pages also have Chapter Review, and Chapter Tests.
